MindK developed a forum for employers and job applicants. It allows users to join a huge number of communities, filtered by interests and industry.

Each user gets a custom news feed based on their communities. The dashboard shows questions from fellow members and messages from the group admins.

Promoting a feeling of trust

Discussing jobs and pay grades requires users to trust each other. They also want an option to stay anonymous. To promote trust between forum members, we implemented the employer verification feature.

Users can confirm an email address with the company’s domain. This unlocks exclusive access to the employer sub-forum. Moreover, users can now post anonymously under the company's name. They can also reveal their full name or job role when talking to fellow users.

Fostering group communication

Each community post has a comment thread. They allow users to post replies, react, share the post in other communities as well as report offensive posts or block specific users.

The forum has a convenient wizard for creating various types of posts. Users can share job offers, internship opportunities, salaries, and benefits to compare them to similar positions.

Community apps to stay up to date anywhere

A lot of members browse the forum on mobile devices. To improve their experience, we created mobile iOS and Android apps. Users can now access favorite communities on the go as well as receive notifications about new posts, replies, and member reactions.
